When your YOUNG and SINGLE in a city, FRIENDS are your FAMILY

Lent term started a week ago…new timetable, new classes, new lecture theatres, new lecturers, new tutorials, new tutors. My timetable for this term is quite flexible except for Thursday. 5 classes on Thursday and two of em are of the same subject. Comments about the lecturers? ACF 212, the lecturer a.k.a Pelham Gore is a strict guy. Can’t be late for his class, but his way of teaching, I like. Can understand wut his trying to deliver. Moving on to ACF 213, Wendy Beekes a.k.a new Malaysian member (only Malaysian Lancasterians understand), well..her voice is loud therefore u won’t fall asleep in her class, however her flaw is, her jokes are lame. Damn…i never get her jokes. Next subject, MSCI 224, Richard Eglese, he’s quite fun. Not bad. Not bad at all. Last but not least, the worst of em all, MATH 270, John Gilbert. OMG….how do i even begin to explain him? In short, he makes me want to fall asleep in class, he’s mumbling by himself, i dun understand his handwriting etc etc. This could go on and on and on. But, he’s still my lecturer so i respect him. Well, this blog entry is gonna be short. I’ve nothing else to write about. Whn something interesting in my life happens, i’ll definitely post it here. FRIENDS..everyone has a different opinion on what it actually means. It can mean anything. Some people take the meaning of FRIENDS seriously, whereas others don’t. After witnessing certain situations, the meaning of FRIENDS is a big question mark to me now. Try and picture this. U welcome a new friend in your life. U gave him/her the special treatment, invite him/her to every ocassion u organize, make sure he/she is not left out. Introduce him/her to your friends. Then, the both of you are comfortable with each other, u tend to share secrets with each other. Suddenly, one day….he/she lied to you, he/she was ashame to introduce you to his/her friends without knowing what the reason was, he/she was avoiding you, he/she was isolating himself from your group of friends. U’ve helped him/her alot in the past but suddenly, out of the blue, he/she backstabs you, doesn’t really treat u or appreciate u as his/her friend. That’s so B*LLS**T. Damn it. A true friend will not do those things, or if those things happened, a true friend will realise it, and come up with an apology and an explanation.

Another situation, a true friend will know his/her limits when a conversation is involved. You can’t just simply say anything u wanna say. U have to have certain limits. Certain things might hurt you friends in a way. Don’t be SO ARROGANT. For example, when ur engaged in a conversation about money, make sure u analyze people around you that might not be comfortable about this conversation. Or, when your having a conversation with ur friends from other countries, don’t be a big show off about your country. Each country has their own pride and things that they can be proud off. Lastly, don’t criticise people buying cheap things. If u dun like it, than BACK OFF. Don’t go and say things like.."ewww…cheap stuff". It hurts…alot. I know that u have LOADS of MONEY that u can spent on branded stuff, but be more considerate to others who can’t afford it. Statements like that can hurt your friends really bad and leave a deep wound in their hearts. So people…do know your limits alright. I may not be a good friend either. I may have hurt certain people directly or indirectly, but deep down inside me, i appreciate my friends so damn much. Friends are one of the precious gifts in the world.    

Apocalypto….To seek a new beginning. APOCALYPTO…another Mel Gibson movie. When i first watched the trailer…i find it scary. I said to myself i’m never gonna watch this movie ever…but when the trailers keep playing on the TV..somehow it boosts up my interest to watch it so yesterday…i had the chance to watch it together with Bash, K.Jun, Rapek, Mc and Argen. The lead actor, Rudy Youngblood, played his role (Jaguar Paw) really well. Thumbs up to the other actors and actresses as well. You get to experience what was it like to live during the Mayan civilization. Mel Gibson did a great job by using Mayan language (i dunno what language it was) which is about to extinct around this time of the era. The movie was violent and brutal. Back then they just don’t care of murdering other people, taking other peoples lives. They dont care about children loosing their parents. I feel pity for the little ones whom have to witness their parents death in front of their eyes.  They murder other people as a symbol of sacrifice to their God. It’s just not right. This movie also shows the pure love of a man for his family. Some of the scenes really touched my heart and i recommend it to u guyz to watch this movie. Overall, i rate it a 4 out of 5. And people…plz dun listen to others who dun wanna watch it. If u wanna watch this movie..just watch. It’s worth your money.

this winter’s holiday was one of the best holidays…my family came to england to visit me…and we went to italy for a week…there are some bad memories but hey…what’s an interesting holiday without a mixture of memories right?

FINALLY…the year 2007 is here…and this yr is the first time i’ve listed my new year’s resolutions…there are ten of em..to be exact…i seriously wanna forget the year of 2006…it’s one of the worst years i’ve experienced my entire life…i wanna put it behind my back and looking forward to have a great 2007…i’m gonna try my best to stick to all ten of my resolutions…so..from this day onwards..say BYE-BYE to LIANA OF 2006…..and HELLO to LIANA OF 2007…LIANA of 2006 is GONE!!!!!!!!

From this day onwards….no more negative thinking, no more depression, less shed of tears, STOP "pitying" myself over stupid stuff, get that certain someone OUT of MY MIND…and always be HAPPY.

I’m really looking forward to have a great 2007. Adios…
